Lake Como International Conducting Competition, that was interrupted due to Corona Virus pandemic related issues, will continue on June 2021. The new dates are: I Round from June 14 until June 16, II Round June 17 and June 18, Semifinal June 19, Final June 20.

In order to facilitate the inclusion of all the conductors that wanted to participate but couldn’t due to the emergency we faced months ago, we decided to open again the applications, thus making possible to join the first round of the competition to the widest audience.

The musicians that have already passed the First phase in November, will be automatically admitted to the Second Round that will be held in Bellano from June 17.

Among the prizes there are concerts in European Union and Turkey.

The orchestra of the competition is one of the best of its kind on the Italian soil, L.C.P.O. (Lake Como Philharmonic Orchestra).

The jury is made by maestros and agents from Italy, Russia, Germany, Spain, Bulgaria and Turkey, thus ensuring to the competition a real International standard.

The President of the jury is M° Vladimir Ponkin, People’s Artist of Russia; Professor of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Russian State University named after Kosygin; Winner of two theater awards “Golden Mask”; Artistic Director of the Kuban Symphony Orchestra (Krasnodar Russia)

We look forward to meet you in person on Lake Como, Italy!
